All the Geographic Information Sysytem (GIS) is the computer realized obzervation of the objects in the real world. This realization is a process called "Model building" (Szabolsc Mihaly).
An important feature of GIS is to represent real world in a relevant way. There are a lot of possibilities represent real world:
This course was dedicated creating digital map by myself. The main goal was to collect data, analysis and represent it.
The idea was to analysis noise polution in Sopton city and present the result. For background of map was used data from open souce Open Street Map.
The map of Noise pollution in Sopron city represented below.
